Some of the best drumming I’ve ever heard. This album blows me away every time. The Yussef Kamaal trio occupy an unusual place in modern jazz, not really falling easily into any category. It’s melodic, gentle, atmospheric with drum and bass underpinnings that astound the senses. If you made it this far then make sure and give these lads a try. Epic. Can’t wait for their future releases.
